Before running water arrived, life in A Arnoia revolved around its fontes e lavadoiros (springs and washing places): meeting points, places of conversation and of work. This 18 km circular route —the most demanding of the three— links together a score of springs and washing places scattered across the parish, from the Fonte-lavadoiro da Reza to the dos Chaos, crossing oak groves, vineyards and old sunken lanes.
With a cumulative ascent of nearly 500 m, it is the option for walkers with stamina who want to read the landscape through its ethnography of water. Hiking boots and waterproofs recommended.
