A celebration of Pan de Cea, the only bread in Spain with a Protected Geographical Indication, made in practically the same way as in the Middle Ages: wheat flour, water and salt, baked in a wood-fired oven.
The festival features the Ruta dos Fornos —a walk through the old ovens with tastings and wine—, the reading of the proclamation and the popular feast. A plan full of flavour and roots, just over half an hour away from Bicotorto.
