The patron saint festivities of A Arnoia in honour of Santa Rita de Casia. They are held around 22 May, following a novena that begins in mid-month.
They blend liturgical events —a solemn Mass and procession— with popular celebration: pulpeira, gaiteiros, a communal dinner and an open-air dance with a live band. Together with the Festa do Pemento, this is the village’s great festival, and a perfect chance to experience A Arnoia at its most authentic.
