The most spacious home at Bicotorto: three bedrooms and a large living-dining room bathed in natural light. For families and groups who want to share a table and linger over it, without giving up space.
Where the name comes from. Peneda is Galician for a large crag or rocky ground. A Peneda is a real place in this same council, about three kilometres away on the boundary with Cartelle: a cork oak woodland over the rocks that also give their name to the reservoir on the river Arnoia. You can walk or cycle there, and it is worth the trip. The house takes its name from it because that is what this valley is made of: stone, water and tree.
