Festa da Lamprea de Arbo
Late April · Arbo (on the banks of the Miño)
A tribute to fresh lamprey from the river Miño, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest. It is savoured stewed in the local «arvense» style and in other preparations, paired with wines from the area (D.O. Rías Baixas / Condado do Tea).
One of the most important gastronomic events in the north-west of the peninsula, ideal to combine with a tour along the Baixo Miño.
